Full Job Description

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, provides quality services that empower individuals, enhance independence, and help people live well. Since 1974, we’ve supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently at home and in their community. With our dedicated team and experienced staff, we provide person-centered services that help people build skills, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.

Pay Rate: $13.00/hr.

Medical Records Coordinator
Do you have experience in an office environment and want to work for a company that positively impacts the lives of the many individuals it serves? In the Medical Records Coordinator role, you will contribute to the company’s commitment to serve others by compiling, verifying, typing, and filing individual records.

Maintain files and individual records by updating and filing data upon receipt of information Initiate records for new individuals served and create a computer index
Assist in copying and distribution of record information per policy
Maintain supply of forms, including packet preparation
Review clinical documentation prepared by program staff to ensure that timecard and clinical documentation coincide
Ensure accuracy of all data

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
Six months of general office experience; experience in medical records preferred
Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks
Effective communication skills and well-developed problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail
