Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Wildlife and Pest Control Technician and become a vital part of protecting properties, landscapes, and communities from unwanted pests and wildlife. This energetic role combines outdoor work, technical expertise, and customer interaction to deliver effective pest management solutions. You'll utilize your mechanical skills, knowledge of pesticides, and safety protocols to ensure a pest-free environment while providing exceptional service to clients. This paid position offers opportunities for growth, skill development, and making a tangible difference in the safety and comfort of our clients’ spaces.

Duties

Conduct inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural sites to identify pest activity and wildlife presence.
Implement pest control measures using chemical agents, traps, or exclusion techniques following all safety protocols.
Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, and ladder equipment to access difficult areas.
Apply pesticides and chemical agents accurately while adhering to pesticide management regulations and respiratory protection standards.
Perform confined space entry safely when required for wildlife removal or pest control in restricted areas.
Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and client interactions for compliance and reporting purposes.
Engage with clients professionally to explain pest issues, recommend solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction through outstanding service.

Skills

Strong knowledge of pest control methods, pesticide application procedures, and integrated pest management strategies.
Mechanical aptitude with experience handling hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and ladder use with a focus on ladder safety procedures.
Familiarity with entomology principles to identify pests accurately and implement targeted control measures.
Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while following all safety protocols related to driving and outdoor work environments.
Experience in outdoor work settings such as lawn care, farming, landscaping or agriculture enhances your ability to navigate diverse terrains efficiently.
Excellent customer service skills with clear communication to educate clients about pest issues and solutions.
Knowledge of safety protocol adherence including confined space entry safety procedures, chemical handling regulations, respiratory protection standards, and pesticide management practices.
