Senior CNC Setup Machinist & G-Code Specialist (1st Shift)

TECHNICAL DEPTH 3+ years of professional CNC setup mastery alongside the ability to read, interpret, and manually edit G-Code at the controller
MACHINERY ASSETS Experience setting up and optimizing advanced multi-axis platforms (Doosan, Mori Seiki, or similar modern equipment preferred)
SCHEDULE Premium 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, and Friday 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Enjoy your weekends early!)
COMPENSATION $27.00 – $40.00 per hour base rate depending on trade expertise + full benefits and an exclusive 5-year deferred loyalty bonus structure
WORK TYPE Full-Time, Permanent, W-2 direct hire position (State-of-the-art shop utilizing lights-out automation and progressive tooling)
LOCATION Northeast Wisconsin corridor near Green Bay (Must reside within a realistic daily commuting distance)
COMPLIANCE United States Citizens or Green Card holders only (Due to high-spec defense and aerospace program regulations)

We are a rapidly expanding, high-precision manufacturing partner for critical aerospace and defense programs. Because we aggressively reinvest in our production floor, our average equipment age is under 3.5 years, featuring pristine multi-axis machines, advanced progressive tooling, and cell automation.

Here, you will escape the monotony of boring, single-part production runs. Our setup specialists enjoy massive autonomy and technical variety, owning their setups and actively optimizing part programs to maximize efficiency across the floor. We believe in treating top-tier machinists like professionals. That’s why we offer a highly rare schedule that gets you out the door by 10:00 AM every Friday, backed by stable long-term growth and a unique deferred corporate bonus program that builds interest and rewards your loyalty after five years.

What You Will Be Doing

Interpreting complex engineering blueprints and technical geometric drawings to execute flawless setups on CNC mills and lathes
Utilizing hands-on G-Code mastery to dial in, troubleshoot, and manually optimize machining programs directly at the machine controller
Performing detailed first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision micrometers, calipers, and gauges to secure a zero-defect production standard
Mentoring, training, and shadowing machine operators to ensure they can load parts, monitor offsets, and run jobs with strict repeatability
Partnering directly with operations leadership and programming teams to pioneer process improvements, slash cycle times, and eliminate bottlenecking

What We Are Looking For

Machining Core: 3 or more years of verifiable experience performing complex CNC machine setups and working actively with G-Code programming/editing.
Platform Familiarity: Direct experience working with modern, high-end CNC equipment like Mori Seiki, Doosan, or closely comparable multi-tasking platforms.
Technical Literacy: A flawless ability to read complex engineering schematics and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) callouts.
Professional Stability: A solid, reliable work history with a track record of strong attendance and a safety-first manufacturing mindset.
Proximity: Permanent residency within a reasonable, daily driving distance of the Northeast Wisconsin manufacturing corridor.
