Full Job Description

Pay: $25–$40 per hour, based on experience
Plus a $5 per hour night-shift premium

Are you a skilled CNC machinist who enjoys challenging setups, large parts, and work that requires real craftsmanship?

We are looking for an experienced Night Shift CNC Machinist to join our team. This is not a repetitive production role. You will work on large, complex components using bridge and gantry mills, where attention to detail, problem-solving, and a strong commitment to quality are essential.

What You Will Do:

Set up and operate CNC bridge mills and gantry mills
Set up tooling and fixtures per programmer's instructions
Set up and fixture large weldments and complex components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup documentation
Understand and apply GD&T requirements
Read, understand, edit, and troubleshoot G-code as needed
Safely move and position large workpieces using overhead cranes and rigging equipment
Verify setups, tooling, offsets, and critical dimensions before and during machining
Inspect your own work and document results as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Communicate clearly with programmers, supervisors, inspectors, and other team members
Maintain a relentless focus on quality throughout every stage of the job

What We Are Looking For:

Previous CNC machining and setup experience
Experience with bridge mills, gantry mills, or other large machining centers
Strong blueprint-reading skills
Solid understanding of GD&T
Experience reading and working with G-code
Experience setting up tooling and fixtures
Experience with overhead cranes and rigging
Experience setting up and machining weldments
Experience machining large parts is strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Excellent attention to detail
A hyper-focused commitment to quality and accuracy
The ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned jobs
A positive attitude and willingness to support the team
