Company Conformance Statements

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:

· Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.

· Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.

· Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.

· Work independently while understanding the necessity for communication and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

· Travel to Woodville Ohio (once a week), Lambertville Michigan (twice a week), and Wauseon Ohio (twice a week).

POSITION SUMMARY:

Perform various clerical duties to support the operation of a busy dermatology practice. Works under the supervision of the Regional Supervisor. The position is best suited for an energetic and highly motivated employee that is capable of multi-tasking.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Answering phones- courteously and professionally.

2. Scheduling appointments, lab tests, surgeries, etc.

3. Verifying referrals and/or pre-certifications.

4. Updating insurance information.

5. Answering general patient questions.

6. Taking messages accurately and relaying to appropriate personnel.

Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):

7. Collecting co-pays.

8. Sorting, filing and scanning patient charts.

9. Preparing and cleaning exam rooms.

10. Traveling between practice offices to cover staffing needs.

11. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Required:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

- High level of reliability and professionalism is expected.

- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.

- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles

- Previous experience preferred.

Education:

- HS diploma or GED.

Preferred:

- Previous clerical experience in a Drs. Office highly preferred.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to infectious materials. Use of various instruments and equipment, which may be electrical in nature.

o Licensing verification, if applicable

o Medicare Exclusion List, if applicable

o Drug test
