Full Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION -- This is a hybrid telehealth/in-person role based in Bryan/College Station or the northwest Houston area. Telehealth providers will be considered IF you hold licensures in multiple states (including Texas), but we are primarily looking for a provider who can be based in or commute regularly to Bryan/College Station, TX.

We are looking for a licensed psychiatrist or psych mid-level provider (NP or PA) to assist patients with new patient intake, evaluations, and medication management. The best candidates will have a passion for collaborative, integrative care that incorporates counseling and alternative therapies such as TMS.

Nurocoach is committed to helping patients in the Brazos Valley get the mental health care they deserve. We focus on helping patients with depression, anxiety and related challenges- taking a highly conservative approach to prescriptions and focusing on integrative care and behavioral development.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a contract clinician to see patients, in-person and via telehealth technology, on a self-selecting schedule-- make your own hours! Our clinical team will benefit from seamless technology and a team of Patient Coordinators who enable you to focus on providing your clinical expertise.

The ideal team member will:

be licensed with prescribing authority in Texas, and be willing to gain licensure in additional states; this will enable telehealth opportunities over time
be passionate about providing best-in-class clinical support to patients struggling with depression, anxiety, and related ailments
have extensive experience with patient intake, development and management of therapies such as CBT/ACT, in addition to conservative medication management and titration
be very comfortable learning and utilizing technology such as telehealth platforms and EMR software

REQUIREMENTS

Must meet education and licensing requirements to practice medication management (via Collaborating Physician)
Must possess strong computer skills and comfort with technology

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

Utilize proprietary technology platform to manage a weekly schedule of appointments (providers may self-select their volume of availability)
Submit patient notes in a timely manner, assisted by our real-time note-taking in EMR (AdvancedMD)
Assist in the ongoing development of corporate intellectual property and clinical content
