Full Job Description

The SHEQ Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality systems across all Manufacturing operations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, company policies, and international best practices, fostering a proactive culture of safety, quality excellence, and environmental responsibility.

Duties & Responsibilities Strategic SHEQ Management

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's integrated SHEQ management system aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Establish SHEQ objectives, policies, and performance targets in alignment with corporate goals.
Conduct regular management reviews and prepare SHEQ performance reports for executive review.

Health & Safety

Identify, assess, and control workplace risks and hazards through inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and other applicable federal, state, and local legislation.
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Promote and facilitate employee health and safety training programs and awareness campaigns.

Environmental Management

Monitor and manage environmental aspects, impacts, and legal compliance.
Oversee waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), and other applicable environmental regulations and standards.

Quality Management

Oversee product and process quality control systems to maintain customer satisfaction and compliance.
Lead internal audits, non-conformance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure consistent quality standards.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain and update all SHEQ documentation and records.
Prepare and submit reports to management, regulatory authorities, and certification bodies.
Ensure all site personnel and contractors adhere to SHEQ requirements.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Quality Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years' experience in a SHEQ, EHS, HSE, or Safety Management role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, ISO standards, and applicable federal, state, and local SHEQ legislation.
Experience with internal and external audits, risk management, and management system implementation.
Strong communication, leadership, and training facilitation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SHEQ/EHS management software.
