The Utilities Project manager is responsible for coordinating and managing projects and schedules to ensure adherence to budget and work scope.

Pay Range: $38.10 to $54.42

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Construction Science or engineering field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of experience in civil construction, site development and/or utility plant construction, including experience in management of utility infrastructure projects involving at least two of the following utility plant production, electrical, thermal, water or sewer systems.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient in MS office tools: Project, Excel and Word.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and adapt to changing demands and priorities. Strong analytic/problem solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, OSHA Certification, Professional Draftsperson, Professional Engineer
Knowledge of thermal and domestic water and electrical distribution, sanitary and storm sewer systems.
Responsibilities
OVERSEE: Oversee progression of work to verify compliance with stakeholder requirements, and approved project construction schedule. Perform site visits, conduct job site meetings, assist with job site safety, project photos, status and schedule updates and conduct final acceptance.
COORDINATION: Close coordination of all activities with other members of project team. Coordinate with UES management to schedule construction sequence, manpower resources, and equipment.
REVIEW: Review construction documents at various design phases; identify design problems and recommend improvements. Investigate potentially serious construction problems; implement corrective measures with input from other members of the UES and A/E teams.
BUDGET: Oversee management of financial aspects of projects and adherence to budget as work progresses. Procurement of equipment and materials; negotiation of purchase orders
DEPARTMENTAL OBJECTIVES & SAFETY: Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, stand for extended periods of time, and will frequently be required to lift heavy materials. Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting accidents and unsafe working conditions, uses proper personal protective equipment, follows safety procedures outlined in Material Safety Data Sheets, and participates in safety training. Committed to continuously improving the quality and value of service provided to our customers. PROJECT SCOPE: Define project scope of work, prepare CPM schedule and handle contract administration.
LEASE DOCUMENTS: Administration of construction obligations per lease documents.
