Job description:

Job Overview

Jomar Electrical Contractors is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team! If you have a strong background in commercial construction, project estimation, and a sharp eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for projects.
Review blueprints, specifications, and proposals.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure alignment on scope and budget.
Identify value engineering opportunities and maintain estimating data.

Requirements:

3–5+ years of experience in electrical estimating, specifically in commercial construction.
Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings required
Basic understanding of commercial codes, such as NEC, UL, IBC, etc.
Time management and planning skills.
Familiarity with electrical codes and construction practices.
Experience with Bluebeam and Accubid is a must have skill.
Strong communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.
