Full Job Description

Blisspoint Care is hiring Expressive Therapists (1099 contractors) to provide services to adults with developmental disabilities through the CLASS waiver program.

Blisspoint Care is building meaningful, person centered therapeutic experiences for adults with developmental disabilities by meeting individuals where they are and supporting where they want to go.

We operate within the CLASS waiver program, but our work goes beyond compliance. We design services that are engaging, functional, and rooted in real life outcomes. Our goal is to help clients build independence, regulate emotions, strengthen social connections, and experience joy through movement, creativity, and community.

The work is deeply human and requires adaptability, presence, and intention. Every session is different and every client communicates and engages in their own way. Progress is not always linear, but it is always meaningful.

We are seeking professionals in:

Massage Therapy
Music Therapy
Recreation Therapy
Aquatic Therapy
Equine-Assisted Therapy

Responsibilities

Provide individualized, goal-oriented therapy sessions
Support clients with emotional regulation, independence, social skills, and physical wellness
Complete timely documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Deliver services in community-based settings

Qualifications

Active certification, licensure, or credential in your discipline:

Massage Therapy: Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Music Therapy: Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) through the Certification Board for Music Therapists
Recreation Therapy: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification
Aquatic Therapy: CTRS, licensed therapist, or aquatic therapy certification (ATRI or equivalent)
Equine Therapy: Certification through Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International, EAGALA, or similar
Current CPR and First Aid certification required
Experience with adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities required
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and coordinate with other providers when needed

Contract Requirements

1099 independent contractor position
Professional liability insurance required
Valid auto insurance required
Reliable transportation

Bonus Opportunities

Sign-On Bonus: Available for qualified candidates (details discussed during hiring process)
Referral Bonus: Therapists who refer another expressive therapist will receive a bonus after the referred therapist completes 50 client service hours
