Full Job Description

Job Summary
Sentinel Quality LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Quality Associate to support customer-facing quality activities within the automotive, energy storage, and manufacturing industries. This role serves as a liaison between clients and project teams, helping coordinate quality inspections, communicate project status, and support field operations. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers in a fast-paced environment.

This position offers valuable exposure to quality management, manufacturing operations, and customer relations. College students, recent graduates, and individuals interested in engineering, quality, or operations careers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Serve as an on-site and remote liaison between clients and Sentinel Quality project teams.
Maintain professional communication with customers regarding project status, inspection activities, and service requirements.
Coordinate field quality activities, including sorting, containment, inspection, and warehouse support projects.
Assist with project scheduling, manpower coordination, and daily activity tracking.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, inspection reports, and customer updates.
Support customer visits and field audits as required.
Escalate quality concerns and customer issues to management in a timely manner.
Ensure project activities are completed according to customer requirements and company procedures.
Assist with data collection, record keeping, and administrative support related to quality operations.
Travel locally within the Austin area as needed to support customer sites.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Support special projects and customer requests as needed.
Maintain a professional image while representing Sentinel Quality at customer locations.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and professionally in customer-facing environments.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Reliable transportation for local travel within the Austin area.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

0–2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, customer service, project coordination, logistics, warehouse operations, or related fields.
Experience working in automotive, energy storage, manufacturing, or industrial environments is a plus.
Previous experience interacting with customers, suppliers, or cross-functional teams is preferred.
Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related educational backgrounds are preferred.
College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during site visits or inspections.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Ability to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and customer-site environments as needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
