Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Supervisor supports the daily operation of the hotel’s Food & Beverage outlets and helps ensure guests receive friendly, efficient, and professional service.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is expected to be highly visible on the restaurant floor, particularly during peak service periods, while supporting the team, responding to guest needs, maintaining service standards, and assisting management with the overall operation of the department.
We are looking for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading by example, developing associates, solving problems, and creating a positive experience for both guests and team members.

The successful candidate will be willing to step in wherever needed, support associates during busy periods, communicate effectively with the kitchen and other departments, and take ownership of the guest experience.
This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone who understands that strong leadership in hospitality means being present, approachable, accountable, and willing to work alongside the team.

This position requires flexibility based on hotel and restaurant operational needs. Availability may include:

Required Certifications
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification as required for applicable alcohol-service responsibilities.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain the applicable California Food Handler Card and/or Food Safety Manager Certification, depending on position.Essential Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development
- Lead by example and maintain a professional and positive presence.
- Train and coach new and existing Food & Beverage associates on service standards, menus, procedures, and guest service expectations.
- Provide ongoing feedback and reinforcement to help associates succeed.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and open communication.
- Encourage associates to resolve guest concerns appropriately and use good judgment.
- Assist management with interviewing, onboarding, training, performance management, and corrective action processes in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain fair and consistent expectations for associates.
- Support positive working relationships between Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Banquets, and other hotel departments.
- Be knowledgeable and capable of performing the essential functions of positions supervised in order to provide operational support when needed.

Candidates should be comfortable learning and utilizing hotel and restaurant systems.
TOAST proficiency is required.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be expected to understand and properly execute applicable point-of-sale, revenue-control, reporting, and operational procedures.
- Supervise the daily operation of assigned Food & Beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and other assigned services.
- Provide leadership and direction to Servers, Bartenders, Bussers, and other assigned associates.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and floor coverage based on business and operational needs.
- Open and close assigned outlets according to established procedures.
- Monitor guest service and food and beverage quality standards throughout the shift.
- Proactively interact with guests and respond promptly to questions, concerns, and service needs.
- Assist with seating, serving, clearing, and other operational duties when necessary to support the team and maintain guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with the Culinary team and other hotel departments regarding Food & Beverage operations.
- Ensure food and beverage presentation standards are consistently followed.
- Ensure side work, opening duties, closing duties, and cleaning responsibilities are completed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and sanitary work environment.
- Assist with resolving operational challenges, including call-outs, unexpected business levels, last-minute bookings, and staffing needs.
- Support proper revenue, cash-handling, check-control, and point-of-sale procedures.
- Maintain accurate shift communication through established logs and reports.
- Document incidents and operational concerns according to hotel procedures.
- Assist with scheduling and daily timekeeping matters as directed by management.
- Assist with inventory, purchasing, par levels, and departmental cost-control procedures.
- Help protect hotel assets and maintain a safe environment for guests and associates.
- Identify maintenance or equipment concerns and communicate them promptly to the appropriate department.
- Attend departmental and company meetings as scheduled.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
