Full Job Description

LINE CHEF

Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting

- This position is part of a Tip Pool system and will recieve tips as part of the salary.

Salary Range: Starting $16.00 plus tips as you will be part of a tip pool.

Must maintain flexible schedule and be willing to work days, nights, and/or weekends

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 30lbs responsibly and often throughout a shift.
Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
Ability to manage cooking multiple items at once.
Must have a detailed understanding food health and safety practices
Attention to detail is top priority. An ideal candidate will be one who can maintain focus and stay extremely aware of their surroundings at all times.
Ability to work well with a team of people under fast-paced and hot working conditions.
Although experience is not required preference will be given to those applicants with previous positions in high paced kitchens.
Nights and weekends must be available
