Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Community Director to oversee the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community in the Buffalo, NY market. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who excels in resident relations, team development, financial management, and property operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all day-to-day community operations, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction and retention.
Manage leasing, occupancy, rent collections, and delinquency efforts.
Oversee maintenance operations, work order completion, and property condition standards.
Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Coordinate and oversee property enhancement and capital improvement projects.
Supervise onsite staff, including performance management, coaching, and team development.
Review and approve invoices, monitor budgets, and prepare monthly operational and financial reports.
Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve occupancy, revenue, and expense management goals.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of apartment community management experience; 5+ years preferred.
Proven experience managing budgets, collections, leasing performance, and staff.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Valid New York State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

Technology Skills

Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience with property management software preferred
