Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Line Cook to elevate our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. As a key leader in the kitchen, you will oversee daily food preparation, ensure adherence to food safety standards, and inspire your team to produce high-quality dishes efficiently. Your expertise in fine dining, menu planning, and food production will drive the success of our culinary operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while mentoring others and maintaining a vibrant, energetic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all aspects of food preparation on the line, ensuring timely and consistent dish execution
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques, food handling, and safety procedures
Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times
Assist in menu planning, recipe adherence, and ingredient sourcing to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and other culinary tools
Maintain high-volume production during peak hours while ensuring food quality remains uncompromised
Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals and adhering to dietary restrictions as required

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations
Extensive culinary experience including fine dining, catering, or high-volume production settings
Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to uphold cleanliness standards
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive and energetic work environment
Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and operating various kitchen equipment
Strong understanding of food handling regulations and dietary accommodations
