Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Accountant to join our dynamic team at WNY Metro Roberts Realty. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of a thriving real estate organization. As a key member of our finance department, you will handle a large variety of essential accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support financial reporting processes. This position is perfect for an energetic professional eager to apply their accounting skills in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule.

Responsibilities

Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet analysis using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage US 50.
Prepare and interpret financial statements, reports, and analysis to support management decisions.
Assist with cash receipt and disbursement activities, ensuring timely processing and accuracy of transactions.
Perform bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and bank statement reviews to maintain financial integrity.
Maintain detailed documentation of all accounting procedures.
Collaborate with team members on technical accounting issues such as account analysis, and account reconciliation.

Experience

Proven experience in accounting environments.
Strong knowledge of financial concepts, double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and financial reporting.
Hands-on experience with various accounting software platforms including QuickBooks and Sage US 50, or similar systems. Must have strong background in Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated ability in financial statement preparation, bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
Prior experience working with payroll tax regulations and reporting is a plus but not required.
Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
