Full Job Description

Job Title: Card Acquisition Strategy Manager

Duration: 12+ Month

Location: 345 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203

Schedule: Hybrid 3 days onsite

Role Summary

The Acquisitions Manager is a key part of the Marketing team, who in conjunction with the product leads and owners, will help develop and be responsible for the end-to-end execution of the product’s customer acquisition strategy. This role requires a combination of strategic mindset and desire to help launch and grow a new product, ability to understand and solve for the customer, data driven approach to decision making, and flawless coordination and organization.

Key Responsibilities

Drive both acquisitions and early month on book engagement through customer focused and lifecycle targeted campaigns to meet defined product performance targets
Assist with the development and managing the execution of the customer acquisition and early engagement strategy across all channels – retail, email, website and app, affiliate and sponsored placements, social media, etc.
Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to develop relevant materials for each channel focused on the awareness, acquisition, and early engagement stages of the customer lifecycle
Work with channel management teams to coordinate, schedule, and deploy acquisition campaign materials
Engage with other relevant internal and external stakeholders such as Product, Legal, Technology, advertising platforms to ensure strategies are implemented effectively
Design and manage performance monitoring and testing to understand effectiveness of acquisition strategies, utilizing a data driven approach to inform iterative enhancements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field
5-8 years of customer acquisition strategy or product growth management experience in financial services with a specific deposits, cards, or payments focus
Understanding of multi-channel customer acquisition strategies across brick-and-mortar, online, direct mail, and paid advertising channels
Prior experience working with marketing and communications teams, to develop and execute relevant messaging and content to drive customer acquisition and engagement
Excellent communication skills with ability to both assist with the creation and proof reading of client messaging
Experience with A/B and incrementality testing design, execution, and monitoring
Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
Awareness of financial services marketing regulations
