About the Role

As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in our precision manufacturing environment, ensuring the seamless creation of high-quality optical products. You will utilize advanced lathing and inspection equipment to drive production efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to quality management systems.

Responsibilities

Operate precision lathing, blocking, and polishing machinery to manufacture high-quality optical lenses.
Manage the end-to-end production lifecycle, from initial order entry and material handling to final packaging and shipping.
Conduct rigorous in-process inspections to ensure all products meet technical specifications and regulatory standards.
Maintain precise traceability of materials and components throughout every stage of the manufacturing process.
Document production data accurately to support workflow optimization and continuous process improvement.
Collaborate with team members to uphold safety protocols and maintain an organized, efficient workstation.
Interpret standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation to ensure consistent manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

Required Skills

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong hand-eye coordination for handling delicate, small-scale components.
Basic computer proficiency for data entry and order management systems.
Ability to read and follow detailed technical instructions and safety guidelines.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in medical device manufacturing or a regulated production environment.
