Full Job Description

Robert Half is excited to partner with a leading Real Estate company in the Buffalo, NY area on their search for an Administrative Specialist. This role focuses on coordinating commission and escrow closing for a 200+ agent team in various New York State locations. This is a Direct Hire position with a starting wage of $21 - $22 per hour, excellent overtime potential, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Process real estate commission payments, escrow deposits, and daily bank deposits for closed transactions
Prepare, issue, and reconcile escrow disbursements in accordance with transaction documentation
Print, distribute, and maintain records of weekly commission payments
Communicate with branch offices, attorneys, and co-brokers to resolve transaction and payment discrepancies
Record and reconcile deposits for affiliated companies and provide supporting documentation to the accounting team
Maintain accurate transaction files and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least one year of experience in banking, accounting, finance, or payment processing with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
