Full Job Description

General Role Description

This position provides on-site clinical and administrative supervision of a reintegration congregate program. In addition, the position provides collaborative administrative oversight in the reintegration scattered site program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides clinical and administrative oversight of a designated congregate care reintegration program, its staff, and program participants.

In conjunction with the Assistant Director of Reintegration, provides collaborative administrative oversight for reintegration scattered site programming.

Administrative oversight includes compliant agency and regulatory processes; practices improvement and implementation; reporting and analytics.

Oversees and facilitates staff supervision, consultation, and monitoring of the services received by all residents.

Assists with the implementation and monitoring of performance-based standards required for all governing bodies.

Facilitates utilization review and quality assurance under the direction of the Direction of Reintegration Services and Director of Clinical Services.

Reviews all evaluations, admissions, treatment plans, resident chart maintenance, continuing stays, case conference and discharges for the compliance with agency policies, contracts and regulations.

Maintains positive relationships with representatives of licensing authorities, other providers, and the surrounding community.

Develops and oversees educational activities, groups, recreational, social, and other programs requirements.

Assures that all necessary universal precautions are used to limit the transmission of infectious diseases.

Directly responsible for hiring program staff in consultation with the service level supervisor.

Protects and ensures the confidentiality of protected records at the program site.

Maintains on- call status for congregate program staff.

Attends and participates in agency special events.

Assists in the implementation of the agency’s strategic plan.

Serves on agency committees as requested.

Carries out additional duties essential to the above-stated responsibilities as assigned.

Is mindful of and integrates Trauma-Informed Care and its five principles in all duties and interactions with fellow staff, residents, and external partners.

Maintains compliance with all required rules and regulations including Federal Confidentiality (42 CFR, Part 2), HIPAA, Medicaid and/or HUD, and any others.

Regular attendance at work location.

Qualifications

Advanced/Masters CASAC or other Non-CASAC QHP status.

Bachelor’s Degree in a social sciences, mental health or human relations field conferred by a college or university whose course concentration is acceptable by the state education department.

A minimum of three years’ full-time experience in the areas of administration, program development, and supervision of substance abuse and mental health programs.

Must possess a New York State driver’s license & reliable automobile.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,000.00 per year
