Full Job Description

Invision Health is seeking Full and Part-time Registered Nurse's to join our Radiology & interventional pain management team! You will be responsible for:

Essential Functions:

Mastering IV access on adults
Will pre-screen, monitor/discharge, and follow up all interventional procedures.
Assess, administer, and monitor IV pain/conscious sedation patients.
Administer oral sedation to MRI/CT patients as well as IM/IV meds for certain procedures.
Assess/monitor MRI/CT/FLUORO patients who receive IV contrast.
Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; following drug protocols.
Monitor for allergic/adverse reactions for all patients.
Provide emergency care if needed (certifications for BLS/ACLS)
Monitoring bloodwork on patients for CT/MRI for contrast as well as interventional procedures.
Assist in prepping patient for interventional procedures (i.e. spinal injections, radiofrequency ablations spinal cord stimulator trials)
Take patient vitals and document in patient chart.
Assist with patient education/post procedure/discharge instructions.
Monitor patients after interventional procedures (i.e. spinal injections, radiofrequency ablations spinal cord stimulator trials)
Assist with triaging and scheduling as necessary
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
RN license in NY
Familiarity with medical software and equipment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
