Sokolof Remtulla, LLP is a national real estate and creditor’s rights law firm with offices in Florida (Orlando, Boca Raton), California (Irvine), Georgia (Norcross), Louisiana (New Orleans), and New York (Buffalo). As a rapidly growing firm, we are seeking a paralegal / legal assistant.

This role is ideal for a quick thinker who is eager to learn and grow within the legal field. The position offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop skills across multiple areas of law.

JOB SPECIFICS:

Paralegal / Legal Assistant with prior legal experience in either foreclosure or bankruptcy.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Prior experience working at a law firm or handling legal-based issues.
Prior experience in real estate, creditor’s rights, title or bankruptcy.
Experience drafting proof of claims and transfer of claims preferred.
Experience with plan reviews and drafting MFR's is also preferred.
Ability to think and act independently.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficiency in Perfect Practice, Case Aware, LoanSphere (LPS), Tempo, Serengeti or similar case management systems is preferred, but not required.
