Position: Toolmaker (Cold Heading)

If you’re a skilled Toolmaker who thrives in a hands‑on, precision‑driven environment — and you have true Cold Heading industry experience — this is your opportunity to join a stable, growing, family‑owned company where your expertise is valued every single day.

What You’ll Do

Operate toolroom equipment including lathes, surface grinders, mills, and hones
Manufacture and rework dies, tooling, and machine parts for header and secondary equipment
Read and interpret tooling prints and apply tolerances accurately
Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, gage pins, bore gauges, and indicators
Perform preventive maintenance on toolroom equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Train and support less‑experienced team members
Complete additional tasks as assigned

What You Bring

Cold Heading industry experience — required to apply
Strong math skills and ability to interpret complex technical drawings
Solid understanding of tooling, dies, and machining processes
Ability to operate and calibrate inspection equipment
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Previous heading or tooling experience in a cold heading manufacturing setting
CNC machining experience
Knowledge of cold forming processes and metal flow

Tools You’ll Work With

Lathes, surface grinders, mills, hones
Micrometers, calipers, comparators, gage pins, bore gauges, indicators
JobBOSS software for inventory and workflow

Pay & Benefits

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (50 hours/week)
10 hours weekly at 1.5x overtime, plus additional OT as needed

Located in Alpharetta, GA — about 30 minutes north of Atlanta
