Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive legal support across a broad spectrum of practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and more. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth operation of our legal processes, assist attorneys with case preparation, and manage critical document review and research tasks. Duties

Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining legal files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw.
Conduct thorough legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources to support case development across various practice areas like civil litigation, tribal law, patent law, and workers' compensation law.
Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
Support client communication by preparing summaries, transcriptions, and facilitating interviews with clients or witnesses.
Manage procedural tasks including filing documents electronically or in court archives, data entry, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Coordinate project management activities related to complex litigation or regulatory compliance projects ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.
Provide administrative support through calendar management, scheduling meetings or court appearances, and handling phone etiquette with professionalism.

Requirements

Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in legal research, document review, and case management across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, or civil litigation support.
Proficiency in legal support software including iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PCLaw, and familiarity with document management systems.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading experience is essential.
Knowledge of procedural law requirements for filing and court procedures; experience with litigation support is preferred.
Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; professional phone etiquette is a must.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word processing), data entry tools, transcription services, and general office software.
Ability to conduct detailed legal research using online databases; familiarity with legal case management systems is advantageous.
