Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

Ability to operate various types of machines: Sizing, planisher and power brakes.
Operates power brake to form various types of flat metal stock such as banding, making joggles, and angle bends.
May finish-form partially formed punch press, hydro press, and drop hammer parts.
Recognizes improper functioning of press and reports condition to supervisors.
Assist other operators as needed.
Performs rework, repair and other associated operations described.
Ability to troubleshoot.
Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
Other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above, Brake Operators are to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices. Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 1-2 years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills:

Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written and oral instructions.
Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Other Abilities: Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

Tools used:

Hand tools, measuring instruments and templates.

Materials used:

Lubricants, Ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys in the form of flat and shaped parts.

ITAR Compliance:

Access to our facility and therefore employment is restricted under the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/ or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents of the United States and properly licensed foreign persons.

Additional Information

Annual Target Salary = $47,840.00

Monday - Friday 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 2:00am
