As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to join our team and support the financial backbone of our fashion-forward brand.

Role Overview:

The Part-Time Accountant will work closely with our internal team to ensure accurate financial reporting, manage day-to-day accounting tasks, and help streamline financial operations tailored to the unique needs of the fashion industry — including inventory accounting, influencer gifting reconciliation, cost of goods sold, and retail pop-up tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile all financial records, including sales across e-commerce and retail channels.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including payments to vendors, influencers, and service providers.

Track inventory costs and assist with COGS calculations for apparel, jewelry, and accessories.

Oversee monthly closing procedures and prepare monthly financial statements. • Coordinate with external CPA for tax filings and end-of-year financial audits.

Generate financial reports that support business decisions, such as marketing spend, seasonal launches, and product profitability.

Monitor fashion-specific financial workflows like sample tracking, event budgets, and consignment accounting.

Assist with budget planning and forecasting tailored to retail seasonality and fashion drops.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in fashion, retail, or a consumer goods environment.

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).

Familiarity with inventory systems and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, NetSuite, or similar).

Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Understanding of fashion business cycles and the unique accounting challenges of the industry is a plus.Schedule:

15-20 hours/week, flexible scheduling available.

Remote or hybrid depending on candidate and location.
