Full Job Description

Mission

Quote and procure raw materials, equipment and purchased services at the appropriate quality, lowest price and within an acceptable time frame.
Maintain a good working relationship with all vendors.
Comply with established purchasing policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Look for ways to reduce cost to the company, such as evaluating costs of purchasing from various suppliers to arrive at the best deal.
Identify new suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates.
Place orders with suppliers or vendors and ensure that documentation is in order, with terms and conditions being clear.
Interacting with suppliers in case of delay in delivery of supplies, receipt of damaged or incorrect quantity of goods.
Analyze inventory history, seasonal needs, and delivery times to anticipate and prevent shortages.
Assist in assessment of supplier quality and hold suppliers accountable for timelines and quality.
Prepare purchase order, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for goods and services in a timely manner.
Maintain procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
Source and procure special or unusual requested items when necessary.
Additional administrative tasks as required including filing, answering phones and other office management duties.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Two (2) plus years of purchasing experience
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong 10 key skills required
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
Able to multitask and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
