Job Overview

Personal Assistant / Office Administrator Law Offices of Azad Jingozian Glendale, CA

About the Role:

We are a personal injury and criminal defense practice in Glendale looking for a dependable, organized personal assistant to support the attorney directly. This is a dual-purpose role: part personal assistant, part office administrator. You will be the first dedicated support hire in the office, so there is real room to grow into more responsibility as you learn the work.This is an entry-level position. No legal experience required. We will train you on our systems and processes.

What You Will Do:

Mail and office support Receive and process physical mail, manage office supplies, and handle day to day administrative needs as they come up.

Calendar and scheduling Manage the attorney's calendar, coordinate appointments and court dates, and flag conflicts before they become problems.

Document and file management Maintain case files using our standardized storage system: MyCase as the system of record, synced with Dropbox for universal access. All new documents go into the MyCase folder structure. Help migrate any files sitting outside that structure into the correct client folders, and keep the local desktop sync current.

Client communication support Field routine client calls and emails, provide basic case status updates, and route anything requiring the attorney's direct attention.

General administration Support the attorney with scheduling, correspondence, and other personal and professional tasks as needed to keep the office running.

Case support (growth track) As you learn our process, take on light case coordination tasks such as tracking outstanding records requests, confirming appointments, and maintaining status notes on active files. This is not a paralegal role on day one, but it is a path toward one for the right person who shows aptitude for it.

What We Are Looking For:

Strong organizational skills and follow-through. You finish what you start and you tell us when something is stuck. Comfortable learning new software. You do not need MyCase or Dropbox experience, but you need to be comfortable picking up new tools quickly. Clear, professional communication, written and verbal. Reliable and punctual. This is an in-person, local position based in our Glendale office. No legal background required. We will train the right person.
