Full Job Description

Overview:
A leading pizza brand serving Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, and Leland is seeking an experienced operating manager/pizza chef to oversee and elevate all aspects of its operations. This full-time, in-person role is based at our flagship store near Wrightsville Beach. As a primarily delivery-focused business (65% delivery, 30% carryout and 5% dine-in), we seek a leader adept at driving service excellence.

Responsibilities:
The Operating Manager is responsible for directing all daily operations, including but not limited to:

Managing all aspects of food production, ensuring consistency, quality, and strict adherence to food safety standards.
Supervising daily operations such as staff leadership, inventory management and procurement, quality assurance, vendor relations, and exceptional customer service.
Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by coaching and developing staff to consistently achieve high performance standards.

Requirements:
Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably with a focus on pizza or casual dining environments.

Strong background in food preparation and kitchen management.
Demonstrated excellence in supervisory or managerial roles within the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and industry best practices.
Excellent team leadership skills, including hiring, training, performance management, and ongoing staff development.
Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
A commitment to personal and professional growth, coupled with a meticulous approach and dedication to operational excellence.

Compensation:
$70,000 annual base salary, plus up to $6,000 in performance-based bonus income.

Work Location: In person

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
