Full Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals according to our menu. Your expertise in food handling, meal preparation, and culinary techniques will be essential in delivering high-quality dishes to our customers.

Duties:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring
- Assist in menu planning and ensuring food quality meets our standards
- Cook and plate dishes accurately and efficiently during service hours
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and smooth food production
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures

Experience:

- Proven experience working as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a catering or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and execution
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the food industry
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus
