Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Wedding Planner and Day-of Event Coordinator to bring unforgettable moments to life. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the entire wedding planning process—from initial client consultations to the seamless execution of the event on the big day. Your passion for hospitality, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks will ensure each wedding is a flawless celebration. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to craft memorable experiences while working closely with clients, vendors, and your team to deliver extraordinary results.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budgetary parameters for their wedding day.
Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and invocies, managing all aspects of event logistics and vendor coordination.
Communicate with florists, entertainment providers, and other vendors on behalf of the client to ensure a successful event day
Upsell additional services such as food and beverage packages to enhance client experience
Coordinate with the catering team and banquet staff to ensure the smooth setup, execution, and breakdown of the wedding day.
Utilize in-house software systems to create BEO documents and floor plans
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the planning process.
Lead our in-house team effectively on the wedding day—ensuring timelines are adhered to and all details are executed flawlessly.
Handle last-minute adjustments or unforeseen issues calmly and proactively to keep the event on track.

Requirements

Proven experience in event planning within the hospitality industry, including banquet or restaurant experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with familiarity with Caterease(desired)
Demonstrated ability in managing event budgets effectively while upselling additional services for increased revenue.
Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to liaise confidently with clients and vendors.
Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or catering establishments is highly desirable.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to coordinate during high-pressure moments on event days.
Knowledge ofbanquet operations enhances your ability to deliver top-tier experiences.
Ability to manage time efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude throughout planning phases.
Ability to multitask
