Job Description:

US Enhanced is hiring for a Confidential Company in Burlington, NC seeking an experienced Aluminum TIG Welder for a precision machining and metal fabrication environment. This position is ideal for a highly skilled welder who takes pride in producing clean, accurate, high quality welds and can consistently meet strict quality standards.

This role will focus heavily on aluminum TIG welding, with additional opportunities to work with stainless steel and carbon steel components. The successful candidate must be comfortable working from blueprints, maintaining tight tolerances, and producing cosmetic and structural welds that meet customer specifications.

Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their welding ability immediately. A hands on weld test will be conducted upon arrival for the interview process. Only candidates who are confident in their aluminum TIG welding skills should apply.

Responsibilities include:

Perform TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and steel components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate settings based on material and application
Inspect finished welds for quality, appearance, and dimensional accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times
Work closely with fabrication and machining teams to complete projects efficiently
Identify and correct welding defects as needed
Meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional workmanship

Requirements:

Strong recent aluminum TIG welding experience is required
Experience welding stainless steel and carbon steel
Ability to pass an aluminum TIG weld test during the interview process
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, or precision machining environment
Ability to use measuring tools and inspect completed work accurately
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift materials and work in a production environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to pass required pre employment screenings
No entry level candidates will be considered
This is not a training opportunity. Only candidates with directly related welding experience will be considered.
