Duties
- Conduct passenger screenings using X-ray machines and manual inspection techniques to detect prohibited items.
- Perform thorough baggage checks through X-ray interpretation and manual handling to ensure safety compliance.
- Verify traveler identities by performing background checks in accordance with security protocols.
- Manage crowd control and conflict resolution with professionalism to maintain a safe environment.
- Operate security equipment effectively while adhering to established procedures for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting travelers with questions or concerns while maintaining security standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in aviation or security operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict calmly and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail for X-ray interpretation and security screening procedures.
- Capable of performing background checks accurately in line with security protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and early mornings as needed.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks comfortably.
