Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating mouthwatering dishes. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to meet our high standards of quality and consistency. Speed and cleanliness are essential in this role, as we operate in a fast-paced environment where efficiency is key.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and guidelines
Ensure all dishes are prepared with accuracy and consistency
Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
Work efficiently to meet high-volume demands during peak hours
Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations
Follow instructions from the head chef and kitchen management team

Requirements:

Proven experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant or bar and grill
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness and sanitation
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
