About Our Church & Culture
Who We Are: Brick Church is a non-denominational church located just a few minutes outside the hustle and bustle of Burlington, NC. While most people would consider us a traditional church, we are interested in creating an environment where people of all ages and diverse backgrounds can encounter God in a meaningful way.
In respect to our worship ministry, we are looking for someone who has both an appreciation for the familiar hymns of the Church as well as an affinity for contemporary praise music. Worship at BC is shaped by Scripture and grounded in theology. We believe worship is more than music. It is the gathered response of God’s people to who He is and what He has done. Our goal is to lead the church into meaningful, Christ-centered worship that connects the truth of God’s Word with the hearts of His people. We value authenticity, spiritual depth, and congregational engagement over performance-driven experiences. Our worship ministry is built on volunteers who serve faithfully each week, and we seek to cultivate a culture where team members grow spiritually, develop their gifts, and feel cared for as individuals.
In respect to our ministry to youth and families, we are looking for someone who loves youth and is passionate about helping them grow in their faith and develop a relationship with Jesus that will last into adulthood, as well as someone who understands that discipleship happens at home too, and wants to equip parents to fulfill that role to the best of their ability.
BC is in a season of intentional growth and renewed focus on gospel-centered ministry. We are building toward the future with a heart for strong biblical teaching, meaningful worship, and discipleship that shapes everyday life. As our church grows, we are prayerfully developing ministries that will continue to strengthen our church family and expand our impact in the community.
