Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Line Cook and Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, food preparation on the line, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Your passion for food, strong culinary skills, and leadership abilities will help create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while delivering consistent, delicious meals in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items with precision and consistency, adhering to quality standards and recipes
Lead the line during service hours, coordinating food preparation and ensuring timely delivery of orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and safety practices are followed at all times
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and dietary aides to improve skills in food preparation, knife handling, and cooking techniques
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high standards of presentation, taste, and portion control are met consistently

Skills

Extensive culinary experience with a focus on grill cooking and food preparation in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation across various cuisines
Experience in menu planning, catering, or fine dining settings is highly desirable
Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams effectively
