Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented female water tester and Pool and Spa chemical instore sales associate to join our team. We are family owned and operated since 1965. We specialize in construction of custom inground pools and hot tubs. We also have a retail store where customers can come get their water tested, buy chemicals, purchase and look at hot tubs instore and see all the fun extras we have for around the pool.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting water quality tests, ensuring the showroom is clean and stocked with chemicals and parts, writing up service calls for the service team, and greeting and helping customers in store and repairing Maytronics dolphins. This role requires customer service and strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
This is a seasonal position with the option of staying on throughout the winter spa season as well. If your good, the job is yours for as long as you want to be apart of the team. I really need someone to help throughout the week and be available when I'm unable to be in store on certain days.
Store Hours: M-Th 9:00am - 5:00pm, Fri 9:00am - 4:00pm, Sat 9:00am - 1:00pm
Winter hours: We are closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Requested days off are normally always given, however, I will need you on days I cannot be there.
Yearly raises, Christmas bonus, Commission
Commission on hot tub sales, and Dolphin robot repairs for the bench fee.
Traveling to the pool and spa shows every year - If you are apart of the team you will go for free. We go to the international, regional and retail summits during the winter season November - January.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular water tests to assess chemical parameters for pools and hot tubs (We will teach this)
- Plan and schedule pool appointments and service calls
- Greet and assist instore guests - We treat everyone like family here
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Stock inventory (should be able to lift max 25 pounds)
- Make a list of inventory needed each week (chemicals, equipment, parts, ordered parts)
- Pool and Spa equipment and chemical sales
- Point of Sale and transaction processing
- Attention to detail with the water tests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to water quality testing and other pool and spa related inquires.
- Ensuring the store is presentable (counters clean, floor vacuumed, inventory room clean and organized, displays clean)
- Learn and get certified to repair robotic pool cleaners - Then you collect the bench fee on each one you fix.
Experience
- Previous experience in pool world setting is preferred, but not necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with cash handling, cash registers, and POS systems is a plus for roles involving customer interaction.
- Strong background in customer service, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

- A collaborative mindset is essential for working alongside various departments within our team.
