Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, thrives in a leadership role, and ensures the kitchen runs efficiently while upholding the highest standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards
Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to minimize waste
Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff on cooking techniques, procedures, and safety standards
Monitor kitchen performance to ensure timely service and exceptional guest experiences
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records, as needed
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on menu development, specials, and operational planning

Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen management or leadership role (restaurant or hotel preferred)
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team
Experience with staff training, scheduling, and inventory management
Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Cash handling experience is a plus
