Experienced Project Manager

CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR

Alaimo Group seeks an experienced field service representative for its Mount Holly, NJ office. A minimum of NICET Level 2 Certification in Highway Construction is required. Higher Certification and/or Certifications in Underground Utilities, Water/Wastewater Plants or Building Construction is a plus. This a full-time, hourly position with a strong benefits package.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Construction Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects comply with all applicable regulations, standards, and contract specifications. This role requires a keen eye for quality inspection and the ability to analyze construction processes to ensure that they meet project requirements.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Review and analyze construction documents, schematics, and contracts to understand project requirements.
Perform quality control checks on materials and workmanship throughout the construction process.
Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports outlining compliance or deficiencies.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and owners to address any issues that arise during construction.
Monitor the progress of construction activities to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Provide guidance on best practices in construction management and quality assurance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in quality inspection or construction inspection is preferred.
Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, schematics, and technical documents.
Knowledge of quality control processes related to building materials and methods.
Familiarity with pipeline construction standards is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders in the construction process.
Attention to detail is essential for maintaining high-quality standards throughout projects.
