Full Job Description

Location: Burlington, MA (100% Onsite)
Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 + 10% Bonus

A rapidly growing, venture-backed manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and wants the opportunity to grow into an Accounting Manager role over time.

Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, this position will play a key role in strengthening the company's accounting processes while supporting continued operational growth.

Responsibilities

Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Perform cost accounting, including manufacturing cost analysis, overhead allocation, job costing, and grant cost tracking.
Oversee inventory accounting, including inventory valuation, cycle counts, and reserve analysis.
Analyze financial results and provide reporting and insights to support business decisions.
Partner with operations, production, purchasing, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies.
Assist with external audits, tax support, and other compliance requirements.
Support the continued development and scalability of accounting systems and financial processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Public accounting experience or a combination of public accounting and industry experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, inventory accounting, and cost accounting.
Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
Hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a high-growth environment.
