POOL EQUIPMENT REPAIR TECHNICIAN (CONTRACT)

Location: Greater Austin Area

Compensation: Paid per job (1099 Contractor) | Distributed twice monthly

Here's what we can tell you about Aqua Pearl: we don't rush jobs, we don't cheap out on parts, and we don't set customer expectations before you've even looked at the equipment. You diagnose it, you call it, the customer trusts it because we've built that relationship before you show up.

What the Work Looks Like

We dispatch repair calls across the Greater Austin area, residential and commercial. Pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, lighting, plumbing. You handle the diagnosis and the fix. We handle the scheduling, the customer relationship, and the invoice.

We also bring you in for equipment installations and system inspections. The work is consistent. We have a full pipeline of repair calls and it's growing, so there's no scramble on your end.

You're Probably Right for This If:

You've been repairing pool equipment long enough to diagnose by sound before you open the panel.

You've worked for a company that rushed you, used cheap parts, or threw you under the bus with a customer, and you're done with that.

You want control of your own schedule without having to hustle for every lead yourself.

You take pride in doing it right the first time, and it bothers you when you can't.

RAIL certification or manufacturer training is a plus, but what matters more is that you know your stuff and it shows in your work.

What We Need From You:

Valid driver's license and a reliable work vehicle.

Proven, hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing pool equipment. This is not a training position.

The ability to communicate clearly with customers and document your work accurately.

Must pass a standard background check.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair various pool equipment including pumps, filters, and heaters.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on pool systems.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Document repairs and maintenance performed in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency.
Manage inventory and order parts as necessary.
Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.

Requirements:

Proven experience in pool equipment repair or related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations in the pool service industry.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Certification in pool maintenance or repair is a plus.
