Center Director

Full Time 35+ Hours | $52,000 – $56,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus | Lakeville, MN

Code Ninjas is the nation's fastest-growing kids coding franchise. At our center, kids ages 5–14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way — by playing and building video games they love! Kids have a blast and can't wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic and problem-solving as they progress from White to Black Belt. The Role

We are looking for a charismatic, people-driven and passionate leader to lead our brand new Lakeville location! This is more than an operations role — it is a community leadership role. You will be the face of Code Ninjas Lakeville, the heart of our team and the driving force behind our growth in the community. If you light up a room, love working with kids and families, know how to inspire a team of young instructors and are excited about building community — we want to meet you!

Compensation & Benefits

● Base Salary: $52,000 – $56,000 annually

● Performance bonus structure based on meeting and exceeding targets

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who:

● Is genuinely charismatic — you walk into a room and people notice. Every child and parent feels welcome, seen and valued

● Has exceptional people skills — you build relationships naturally and effortlessly with kids, families, schools and the community

● Is a confident and inspiring leader — especially when managing a team of young instructors who are mostly high schoolers. You know how to motivate, coach and bring out the best in a young team

● Has a passion for children and education — you genuinely love working with kids ages 5–14 and are committed to creating a safe, fun and enriching environment for every ninja

● Is community minded — excited about building meaningful partnerships with schools, organizations and local businesses in Lakeville and the surrounding areas

● Is sales and growth oriented — comfortable following up on leads, giving tours and closing enrollments

● Is tech savvy — comfortable with technology and able to self-learn. Coding experience is a plus but not required!

● Is highly organized and detail oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills

● Has a get it done mentality — thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment and finds solutions instead of problems

Qualifications

● Proven experience working with children ages 5–14

● Strong leadership and team management experience

● Experience in sales, business development or customer service

● Familiarity with social media and digital marketing

● Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology

● STEM or coding experience is a plus but not required

● Must be able to reliably commute to Lakeville, MN

Key ResponsibilitiesPeople & Team Leadership

● Lead, mentor and inspire a team of young instructors (mostly high schoolers) with confidence, patience and enthusiasm

● Create a positive, fun and professional team culture where every instructor feels valued and motivated

● Hire, onboard, schedule and manage center staff

● Conduct regular team check-ins and provide ongoing coaching and feedback

School Partnerships & Community Outreach

● Proactively build and maintain partnerships with local schools — both public and private

● Represent Code Ninjas Lakeville at community events, school fairs and local organizations

● Develop and grow relationships with community leaders and businesses to increase visibility and enrollment

● Plan and execute community events, camps and promotional programs that showcase the Code Ninjas mission

Family Engagement & Enrollment

● Build genuine and lasting relationships with every family in the center

● Conduct center tours and enrollment consultations with prospective families

● Follow up on leads and close new enrollments

● Proactively communicate with parents about their child's progress and ensure they see the value of the program

● Manage customer service issues with professionalism and care

Center Operations

● Oversee daily operations of the Lakeville center

● Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming environment that reflects the Code Ninjas brand

● Uphold all corporate standards and operational guidelines

● Report weekly to ownership on enrollment, retention and center performance

● Manage operational processes and administrative functions
