We are looking for a pharmacist who can work Mondays and Thursdays 8:30-2:30

Part-Time Pharmacist

The Part-Time Pharmacist plays a critical role at RoundtableRx by supporting safe, compliant medication redistribution and ensuring high-quality pharmacy operations. This position is ideal for a licensed Minnesota pharmacist who values mission-driven work, appreciates detailed operational processes, and enjoys contributing to a small but growing nonprofit pharmacy program improving medication access across Minnesota.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), the Part-Time Pharmacist assists with the clinical and operational workflows required for accepting, evaluating, and dispensing donated medications. The pharmacist also supports the CEO and PIC in maintaining compliance with all pharmacy, wholesale, and repository program regulations, and contributes to partner engagement and internal quality systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesPharmacy Operations & Clinical Oversight

Perform required pharmacist safety checks on all outgoing medication orders
Support daily pharmacy workflows: medication intake review, verification of donated drugs, and quality assessment
Assist with inventory management as needed, including review of expiration pulls and donation eligibility
Maintain accurate, compliant pharmacist documentation according to MN Board of Pharmacy and repository program requirements
Support implementation and continuous improvement of pharmacy workflows, safety processes, and working instructions

Compliance & Licensure Support

Maintain familiarity with repository program statutes (Minn. Stat. 151.555) and relevant administrative rules
Participate in internal audits, quality assessments, and preparation for Board of Pharmacy inspections
Support in ensuring all documentation, logs, and files remain audit-ready

Dispensing Partner & Donor Support

Communicate with dispensing or donor partners as needed for clinical or operational questions
Provide pharmacist-level support for partner education, medication eligibility clarification, and repository program requirements
Collaborate with the PIC to resolve order-related issues

Quality & Safety Activities

Participate in monthly recall verification activities and documentation review
Provide input on safety events, process improvements, and system optimizations
Support maintenance of logs, checklists, and dashboards related to pharmacy quality and compliance

Volunteer Engagement & Support

Provide on-site support for operational volunteers during dispensing shifts and intake days
Ensure volunteers feel welcomed, respected, and supported throughout their work
Answer volunteer questions related to workflow, medication handling, and repository program rules
Model professional, positive, and patient communication at all times
Identify any volunteer concerns and coordinate with the Lead Pharmacy Technician & CEO to resolve issues quickly
Help maintain a safe, encouraging, and mission-aligned volunteer environment

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist in Minnesota (required)
Experience in a pharmacy setting (retail, hospital, long-term care, or nonprofit preferred)
Strong knowledge of medication safety, verification workflows, and pharmacy regulations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and independently during assigned shifts
Comfort using spreadsheets, email platforms, and electronic inventory systems
Interest in public health, medication access, or social impact work a plus

Pay: $62.00 per hour
