About ISC

Established in 1971, ISC began building custom power cables & assemblies for Gateway, Kingston, and Xerox. With over 50 years of manufacturing experience, ISC is capable of meeting tight deadlines and changing forecasts while maintaining quality. Our products are in use worldwide in commercial and military aircraft, lifesaving medical devices, weapon systems, inflight entertainment, power systems, and countless commercial, industrial & computer applications. Our facility is environmentally controlled, engineered for manufacturing flexibility, includes dedicated assembly labs for isolated program management, and a cleanroom facility. With dedicated professionals and assemblers regularly operating two full shifts, ISC operates with the most current high-speed tooling, material handling, and test equipment.

Job Overview

The Account Manager (AM) owns execution of customer programs across the full quote-to-cash lifecycle for assigned accounts. This role serves as the primary point of contact and customer advocate while driving internal coordination to ensure on-time delivery, margin performance, and overall program success.

This is a hands-on, operations-focused role within a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment. The Account Manager operates with a high level of ownership and accountability, partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Accounting, and Customer Experience to successfully execute both new and existing programs. Success in this role requires direct involvement in customer communication, production coordination, scheduling, and order execution

What You'll Do:

Customer Ownership

Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for assigned customer accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
Lead customer communications including meetings, calls, and periodic site visits

Program & Order Execution

Own execution of customer accounts through the full quote-to-cash lifecycle, from initial quotation through shipment and cash collection
Support onboarding of new customers and new programs, ensuring successful launch and internal alignment
Provide proactive order status updates, delivery schedules, and open order reporting to customers
Drive on-time delivery performance across assigned accounts

Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Accounting, and Customer Experience to meet customer requirements
Coordinate manufacturability, feasibility, and delivery commitments with internal teams
Drive accountability and clear communication across cross-functional stakeholders

Commercial & Pricing Management

Manage RFQs, re-quotes, and ongoing pricing activities
Coordinate material costs, labor inputs, and pricing updates with internal teams
Support margin performance through effective pricing and cost awareness

Planning & Forecasting

Manage customer forecasts, blanket orders, and Kanban programs
Coordinate material pipelines and demand changes with Supply Chain and Production teams
Support alignment between customer demand and internal production planning

Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement

Proactively identify and resolve delivery, quality, or supply chain issues impacting customer commitments
Manage customer escalations and drive timely resolution
Track quote outcomes, including closed-lost business, and provide feedback to support continuous improvement

Systems & Reporting

Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track orders, forecasts, and account performance
Provide customer forecasts and sales-related reporting to Sales Leadership
Maintain accurate documentation of customer requirements and program details

Additional Responsibilities

Perform other duties as required to support business needs

Must-Have Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of customer-facing experience within a domestic manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace, defense, electronics, cable assembly, or a related industry
Hands-on experience managing RFQs, quotes, pricing, and customer requirements within a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience managing the quote-to-cash process from RFQ/quote through order entry, production, fulfillment, invoicing, and issue resolution
Direct experience using an ERP/MRP system to manage customer orders and support the quote-to-cash process
Experience managing customer orders, delivery schedules, forecasts, and open order reporting
Experience coordinating cross-functionally with production, planning, purchasing, engineering, and/or supply chain teams
Experience handling delivery expedites, schedule changes, or supply chain-related issues
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience in contract manufacturing, cable/harness assembly, electromechanical assembly, or molding environments
Aerospace & Defense industry experience
Experience supporting high-mix / low-volume manufacturing environments
Familiarity with Kanban programs, blanket orders, or customer forecasting processes

Compensation Range:

$70,000 - $90,000/year + bonus
