Full Job Description

Fahmia, Inc is a fast growing and recognized full service business and tax law firm with offices in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced Tax Manager (CPA or JD) for an immediate career opportunity.

Our ideal candidate would be ready to work on a variety of tax preparation and related engagements with minimum training and supervision. Our firm specializes in working with business owners and individuals in various industries across the country.

This is a fast growing company and this role is a managerial role as company seeks to add more tax staff to develop our tax department.

The firm caters to over a thousand small businesses, trusts, estates, nonprofit organizations, and individual clients.

Must have at least 5+ year previous employment with a CPA or law firm. Ideal candidate needs to be confident in their knowledge base, have excellent communication skills, and be ready to continue to grow within the firm.

This role is a senior role and the ideal candidate is expected to prepare tax returns autonomously, correspond with government agencies on behalf of clients to resolve tax related issues, and maintain client relationships by providing high level tax and financial consulting services. All candidate will be tested on their tax knowledge to evaluate their fitness and qualifications for this role.

Salary will be based on position and experience.

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field REQUIRED.
5+ years recent tax experience at a Public Accounting or Law Firm REQUIRED
Ability to prepare and/or review individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary income tax returns REQUIRED
CPA or JD certification REQUIRED
