In this vital role, you will assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen activities, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety standards, and smooth service flow. Your expertise in fine dining, catering, and food management will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities

Support the execution of high-quality food preparation and presentation across all service areas, including fine dining and catering events.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food production, cooking techniques, and sanitation procedures to maintain top standards.
Assist in menu planning, inventory control, and cost management to optimize food utilization and reduce waste.
Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and industry best practices.
Manage kitchen operations during shifts, including coordinating food service timing and supervising dietary department activities when applicable.
Lead team management efforts by supervising staff performance, conducting training sessions, and fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork and hospitality.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes, improve existing menus, and ensure consistent quality across all offerings.
Available to work weekends, night shifts, and holidays.

Experience

Proven experience in food production within a restaurant or hospitality setting, with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments.
Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience managing culinary teams in fast-paced settings.
Extensive knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and dietary requirements.
Hands-on experience with inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management systems.
Familiarity with banquet experience and serving large groups or events is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of food handling, menu planning, and shift management within the food industry.
