Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Professional and become a vital contributor to our financial operations! Our company is a well-established property management firm that owns and manages a large portfolio of rental properties and residential homes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise across diverse accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insightful financial analysis within a fast-paced real estate environment. You will be at the forefront of managing complex financial data and preparing detailed daily reports. If you are passionate about maintaining high standards of financial integrity, this position is perfect for you.

Duties

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
Perform detailed account reconciliations, including general ledger, bank statements, and subsidiary ledgers, using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining accurate records.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to verify data integrity and identify discrepancies.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management activities to support organizational planning.
Execute journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping procedures, and accrual accounting practices to ensure precise financial recordkeeping.

Experience

Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Experience with account reconciliation processes, including bank and general ledger reconciliations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports and perform cash flow analysis.
Knowledge of payroll processing systems and regulatory reporting standards is preferred.
Ability to mentor team members while managing multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication skills for financial report writing and interpretation of financial statements; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for data analysis and reporting tasks.
