Job Title: Tournament Site Director, Scorekeeper, or Gate Worker.
Job Description: This is the perfect job for a high-school or college baseball player. We are looking for staff to help out at tournaments in the San Mateo, Hayward and San Jose region. As a site director, you will be responsible for managing the operations at a dedicated field site during a 15-18U baseball tournament. This entails communicating with coaches, umpires, patrons and working with the Tournament Director to keep the field on schedule while helping address any problems that may arise. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively, problem-solve, and work effectively as a team with other Five Tool staff members. A scorekeeper uses a dedicated phone application to set lineups and actively score the game in real-time, and works closely with the site director. A gate worker welcomes event guests, explains the venue policies, and charges patrons for entry to the venues. By applying, you will be considered for all positions. Job type: Seasonal – part-time throughout the summer and fall
Workdays/hours: Thursday-Sunday – hours are variable based upon your availability and the tournament schedule.
Pay: $30-40 per game – an average weekend of work consists of 10-20 games
