Full Job Description

Job Title:

Certified Nurse Assistant

Schedule:

Night Shift
7:00pm – 7:30am

Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant in San Diego, CA with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.

Duties:

Perform nursing assessments
Provide routine nursing care and personal assistance to patients under the direction of an RN or LVN.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing, grooming, hygiene, lifting, repositioning, and mobility.
Monitor and document patient care, vital signs, neurological checks, changes in physical or emotional condition, and other relevant clinical information.
Collect specimens and prepare patients for diagnostic tests, examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
Perform CNA-appropriate treatments and procedures.
Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and respectful patient environment while protecting patient rights and privacy.
Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations, including cardiopulmonary arrest, choking, seizures, and other acute conditions.
Accompany and assist patients during transport to other units.

Job Requirements:

Current and unrestricted CNA License – Any state license accepted
Minimum 1 year direct patient care experience in the past 3 years
BLS – American Heart Association
