Full Job Description

Position Summary:

The Senior Information Security Analyst is a highly technical security operations professional responsible for monitoring, investigating, and responding to security events across the enterprise environment.

This role requires deep hands‑on expertise with security tools, strong analytical skills, and the ability to take decisive follow-up actions to safeguard the organization’s systems, data, and infrastructure.

The analyst will play a critical role in daily operational defense activities, incident response, and continuous improvement of the security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring & Incident Response

Monitor security alerts and events across SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, email security, and other security platforms.
Analyze and triage security incidents, determining scope, impact, and remediation steps.
Lead technical investigations, including root cause analysis, log review, endpoint forensics, and network traffic analysis.
Execute and document follow‑up actions for all incidents in accordance with established procedures.
Escalate high‑severity threats or complex incidents to ISO, IT Managers, and CIO, as appropriate, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Security Operations & Tooling

Perform daily operational tasks, including alert tuning, threat hunting, and vulnerability follow‑up.
Develop automation and integrations to improve security workflows and incident response efficiency.
Maintain, configure, and optimize security tools such as:
SIEM platforms
Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools
Email security gateways
Vulnerability scanners
Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools
ManageEngine products

Threat Detection & Continuous Improvement

Review and enhance detection rules, use cases, and correlation logic within SIEM and other analytics platforms.
Conduct proactive threat hunting based on emerging tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Contribute to the development and refinement of security playbooks, procedures, and documentation.

Governance, Reporting, & Collaboration

Prepare incident reports and metrics for leadership.
Support compliance, risk assessments, and audit requests as needed.
Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to implement hardening standards and security controls.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
5–7+ years of hands‑on experience in information security operations or incident response.
Strong technical proficiency in:
SIEM administration and log analysis
Endpoint protection and EDR tools
Network security monitoring
Windows, Linux, and cloud (Azure/AWS) environments
Demonstrated experience with ManageEngine tools
Solid understanding of security frameworks and concepts (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, CIS Controls).
Ability to analyze complex security events and communicate technical findings clearly.

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Chosen candidates will have to pass a credit check and background investigation.
